Elsa said.. Let it go, let it Go! Brain-heart connection

“I just want people to stop worrying so much about the small, meaningless and stresses in life and try to remember that we all have the same fate after it all so do what you can to make your time feel worthy and great, minus the bullshit.”

It comes from a letter of a 26-year-old woman diagnosed with cancer and died at that age. Are you surrounded by people who give you problems, stress, negative feelings, who betrays you, insult you, have no life, and so on and so forth. This is the phrase corresponding also to those who face problems related to the people around them.

Maybe you need to throw away things that causes you sorrow no matter how hard you try to make it better. Because the things we really want but gives us a sigh of extreme resentment are not really meant to be in our life.

Maybe you need to choose the path that you know is right but you are hesitant to leave things you do not want to let go because you’re used to it and it already hurts thinking of letting it go. Look closely. Think deeply but calmly, why we are unable to move forward and could not experience real happiness or joy? Is it worth it that the past mistake we did, the bad decisions we made, better job opportunities we let slipped through our hands because we decided to stay..

What is good for your heart is good for your brain.  Heart-brain connection, been my guide and trying to apply to myself mostly on those darkness times.. Which to follow? Brain first? Or heart first?

Try to take a deep breath and feel the beating of your heart. How it feels? Is your chest feels heavy and it signals your brain and your mind telling you it feels like something is squeezing your heart because you remember something in your past that hurts you and the reason you’re still stuck in this kind of bad memory? Or in the situation where happiness is accompanied with pain and guilt and you know it’s not right?

Nobody can tell us Letting go is always easy. But once our heart knew that it is the best way, we should follow this. Fear in our heart is inevitable, but this is where we should use our brain. Instead of putting this fear stuck in our heart we should take away this fear and place with hope. That pain in letting go is just temporary and it will feel better someday and it’s for the best.

That empty hole in your heart, place something in it with hope and believe, so fear and reluctance won’t have a room in it. We cannot be a failure without our own consent. Something new like changes, we should be open on this. Think of it as an opportunity or way out from a situation that you aren’t happy and gives you grief towards better life.

As they said, life is short. And your life is yours. It’s given to us not to be wasted. Unless you permit that. There is so much reasons to be happy. We just need courage to  throw away bullshit and be the master of our own life. It’s the thought that counts right? So give ourselves a gift, a good thoughts about past so we can lived the present and can positively looking forward the future.
